Purpose of the Job: Reporting to Manager: Wintel and Integrity Systems, the successful incumbent will be responsible to lead role in the Windows environment which includes supervising Microsoft server administrators. Design, deliver and maintain a secure, fast, effective and reliable server architecture ensuring the delivery of Microsoft windows active directory services and windows server platform. Maintain systems integration, availability and quality of service.

Key Performance Areas

Install and configure Microsoft active directory, file and print servers, windows hosting servers.
Monitor all user connections and running applications.
Configure and monitor routing groups.
Maintain and apply global, computer and user policies.
Maintain and administer Microsoft systems and servers (Microsoft servers, AD Exchange, SCOM & SCCM).
Maintain healthy state of active directory toolset, ADMT, Group Policy management, DNS, DHCP, account and file security, storage technologies, etc.
Provide end user training as needed.
Comply with standards for server operating systems, applications and hardware.
Install, configure and support any approved RAF application as required by business.
Evaluate and recommend hardware and software purchases.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma @ NQF Level 7 in IT qualification.
Relevant 5 – 7 years’ experience system administration/ Engineer of which 2 years must have been on supervisory level or area of expertise.
Experience in Active Directory, Exchange, Citrix Administration, System Design.

Remuneration

Total cost to company applicable to this position is minimum R668 907.00 per annum, negotiable.

NB: “RAF offers Total Employment Cost packages with no additional contributions from the Employer, successful candidates are required to structure their packages in a manner that will suit their needs”.
