Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Manager: Regulation the successful incumbent will be accountable to provide technical support to the Legal, Compliance and Regulation Department, to administer policy and procedure development and reviews, to provide legal opinion on policy matters, in line with the strategic objectives of the organisation as determined by the Board.

Key Performance Areas

General office management and reporting.
Facilitate and coordinate policy and procedure development in accordance with the approved standard operating procedure.
Provide support in respect of policy and legislation associated activities.

Qualifications and Experience

NQF 7 (Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma) in Law.
Legislative drafting qualification.
Relevant 5 years’ experience in a legal role (which includes any role in the claims management pillars in the RAF’s Operations Division).
Previous policy development and/ or legislative drafting experience will be an advantage.

Remuneration

Total cost to company applicable to this position is minimum R591 298.00 per annum, negotiable.

NB: “RAF offers Total Employment Cost packages with no additional contributions from the Employer, successful candidates are required to structure their packages in manner that will suit their needs”.
