Purpose of the Job: The position of Junior Customer Engineer is responsible to provide IT end-user support to internal and external users of RAF ICT services.
Key Performance Areas
Ensure IT services are accessible to internal and external customers.
Manage Multifunctional devices and standalone scanners.
Provide 1st line telephone and network infrastructure support.
Manage incident and request calls
Maintain and update a register of all ICT assets.
Conduct Bi-annual asset verification.
Provide 1st line VC Support.
Provide input to ICT Operations reports.
Ensure availability of ICT services at remote based offices.
Required minimum education/training and work experience
NQF 6 (Diploma or Advanced Certificate) in IT qualification.
3 year’s relevant system support experience.
Behavioral and technical and competencies required:
Ethics and governance
Customer orientation and customer focus
Citrix knowledge advantageous
Willingness to travel and work extra hours
A total cost to company of minimum remuneration package applicable to this position is
R302 772.00 per annum and will be negotiable commensurate with experience.
